After an applicant applies online, the person will receive a confirmation that the individual’s information was obtained. The person’s application will be reviewed and processed. If additional information is needed, the applicant will be contacted. In some cases, the applicant will be informed if whether other members of their family may be eligible for benefits. Finally, the results of the application will be sent to the applicant via mail.
